மரக்காலும் அளவுகுடமும் ஒரே அளவாயிருந்து, மரக்கால் கலத்திலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும், அளவுகுடம் கலத்திலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும் பிடிக்கக்கடவது; கலத்தின்படியே அதின் அளவு நிருணயிக்கப்படுவதாக.

மரக்காலும் அளவு குடமும் ஒரே அளவாய் இருக்கட்டும். மரக்கால் கலத்திலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும் அளவுக்குடம் கலத்திலே பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும் பிடிக்கட்டும். கலத்தின்படியே அதன் அளவு நிர்ணயிக்கப்படட்டும்.

திருவிவிலியம்
மரக்காலும் குடமும் ஒரே அளவில் இருக்க வேண்டும். குடம் என்பது கலத்தில் பத்திலொரு பகுதியைக் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும். மரக்கால் என்பதும் கலத்தில் பத்திலொரு பகுதியைக் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டும். கலம் என்பதே இரண்டுக்கும் பொதுவானது.
