இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலே நல்லமேய்ச்சலை மேய்கிற மந்தையிலே இரு ஆடுகளில் ஒரு ஆடும், அவர்களுடைய பாவநிவாரணத்திற்காக போஜனபலியாகவும் தகனபலியாகவும் சமாதானபலியாகவும் செலுத்தப்படக்கடவதென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார்.

இஸ்ரவேல் நாட்டிலே நல்ல மேய்ச்சல் மேய்கிற மந்தையிலே 200 ஆடுகளில் ஒரு ஆடு கொடுக்க வேண்டும். “இச்சிறப்பு காணிக்கை தானிய காணிக்கைக்காகவும் தகனபலியாகவும் சமாதானக் பலியாகவும் அமையும். இக்காணிக்கைகள் ஜனங்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்த உதவும்” எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இதனைக் கூறினார்.

இஸ்ரயேலின் வளமான மேய்ச்சல் நிலத்தில் இருநூறு ஆடுகள் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு மந்தையிலிருந்தும் ஓர் ஆட்டுக்குட்டி எடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும். பாவக் கழுவாய்ப் பலிகளான தானியப் படையலுக்கும், எரிபலிகளுக்கும், நல்லுறவுப் பலிகளுக்கும் அது பயன் படுத்தப்படும், என்கிறார் தலைவராகிய ஆண்டவர்.
