ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாந்தேதியில் ஆரம்பமாகிற பண்டிகையிலே அவன் அப்படியே ஏழுநாளும் அதற்குச் சரியானபிரகாரமாகப் பாவநிவாரணபலிகளையும் தகனபலிகளையும் போஜனபலிகளையும், எண்ணெயையும் படைக்கக்கடவன்.

ஏழாம் மாதம் பதினைந்தாம் நாளில் தொடங்குகிற கூடாரப் பண்டிகையிலே அவன் அப்படியே ஏழு நாளும் அதற்குச் சரியானபடிச் செய்ய வேண்டும். அப்பலிகள் பாவப்பரிகாரப் பலியாகவும் தகனபலியாகவும் தானியக் காணிக்கையாகவும் எண்ணெய் காணிக்கையாகவும் அமைய வேண்டும்.”

ஏழாம் மாதத்தின் பதினைந்தாம் நாளில் தொடங்கும் திருவிழாவில் ஏழு நாள்களிலும் இவ்வாறே பாவம் போக்கும் பலிப்பொருள்கள், எரிபலிப்பொருள்கள், தானியப் படையல், எண்ணெய்ப் படையல் ஆகியவற்றை அவன் அளிக்க வேண்டும்.
