நான் கோபத்தாலும் உக்கிரத்தாலும் கொடிய தண்டனைகளாலும், உன்னில் நீதிசெலுத்தும்போது, உன் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய ஜாதிகளுக்கு அது நிந்தையும் துர்க்கீர்த்தியும் எச்சரிப்பும் பிரமிப்புமாய் இருக்கும்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன்.

நான் கோபத்தாலும் உக்கிரத்தாலும் கொடிய தண்டனைகளாலும், உன்னில் நீதிசெலுத்தும்போது, உன்னுடைய சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய தேசங்களுக்கு அது நிந்தையும் துர்க்கீர்த்தியும் எச்சரிப்பும் பிரமிப்புமாக இருக்கும்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன்.

உன்னைச் சுற்றிலும் உள்ளவர்கள் உன்னைக் கேலிசெய்வார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களுக்கு நீ ஒரு பாடமாக இருப்பாய். நான் கோபங்கொண்டு உன்னைத் தண்டித்துவிட்டதை அவர்கள் காண்பார்கள். நான் மிகவும் கோபமாக இருந்தேன் உன்னை எச்சரித்தேன். என்னால் என்ன செய்ய முடியும் என்று கர்த்தராகிய நான் சொன்னேன்!

சினத்தோடும், சீற்றத்தோடும் உனக்கு நான் தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்பு வழங்கும்போது, உன்னைச் சுற்றியுள்ள மக்களினங்களுக்கு அது பழிச்சொல்லும் வசைமொழியும் எச்சரிக்கையும் திகிலுமாய் இருக்கும். ஆண்டவராகிய நான் பேசியுள்ளேன்.
