இஸ்ரவேலின் பர்வதங்களே, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் பர்வதங்களையும் குன்றுகளையும் ஓடைகளையும் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளையும் நோக்கி: இதோ, உங்கள்மேல் நான், நானே பட்டயத்தை வரப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் மேடைகளை அழித்துப்போடுவேன்.

இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகளே, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் மலைகளையும், குன்றுகளையும், ஓடைகளையும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளையும், நோக்கி: இதோ, உங்கள்மேல் நான், நானே வாளை வரச்செய்து, உங்களுடைய மேடைகளை அழித்துப்போடுவேன்.

அம்மலைகளிடம் இவற்றைக் கூறு: ‘இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகளே, எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரிடமிருந்து வந்த செய்தியைக் கேளுங்கள். எனது கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் இந்த மலைகளிடமும், குன்றுகளிடமும் மலைச்சந்துகளிடமும் பள்ளதாக்கிடமும் கூறுவது இதுதான். பாருங்கள்! தேவனாகிய நான், உனக்கு எதிராகச் சண்டையிட பகைவரைக் கொண்டுவருகிறேன். நான் உனது உயர்ந்த மேடைகளை அழிப்பேன்.
