எரேமியாவின் வாயினாலே கர்த்தர் சொன்ன வார்த்தை நிறைவேறும்படி, பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கோரேசுடைய முதலாம் வருஷத்திலே, கர்த்தர் பெர்சியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கோரேசின் ஆவியை ஏவினதினாலே அவன்:

பெர்சியாவின் அரசனாக கோரேசு வீற்றிருந்த முதல் ஆண்டில், கர்த்தர் அவனை உற்சாகப்படுத்தி ஓர் அறிவிப்பு கொடுக்கச் சொன்னார். அவன் அந்த அறிவிப்பை எழுத்து மூலமாகவே எழுதி, தனது இராஜ்யத்தில் உள்ள எல்லா இடங்களிலும் வாசிக்கும்படி செய்தான். எரேமியாவின் மூலமாகக் கர்த்தர் சொன்னது உண்மையாகும்படி இவ்வாறு நிகழ்ந்தது. இதுதான் அந்த அறிவிப்பு:

எரேமியா வழியாக வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட இறைவாக்கு நிறைவேறும்படி பாரசீக மன்னர் சைரசின் முதல் ஆண்டில் அவரது உள்ளுணர்வை ஆண்டவர் தூண்டினார். எனவே சைரசு ஆணை ஒன்றைப் பிறப்பித்து, அதைத் தம் நாடெங்கும் எழுத்துமூலம் வெளியிட்டார்.⒫
