பரலோகத்தின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பூமியின் ராஜ்யங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்குத் தந்தருளி, யூதாவிலுள்ள எருசலேமிலே தமக்கு ஆலயத்தைக்கட்டும்படி எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டிருக்கிறார்.

பெர்சியாவின் அரசனான கோரேசிடமிருந்து: பரலோகத்தின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், எனக்கு பூமியிலுள்ள அரசுகளையெல்லாம் கொடுத்தார். யூதா நாட்டிலுள்ள எருசலேமில், அவருக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டும்படி கர்த்தர் என்னைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துள்ளார்.

“பாரசீக மன்னர் சைரசு கூறுவது; விண்ணகக் கடவுளான ஆண்டவர் மண்ணகத்திலுள்ள எல்லா அரசுகளையும் என்னிடம் ஒப்படைத்துள்ளார். மேலும் யூதாவிலுள்ள எருசலேமில் தமக்கென ஒரு கோவிலைக் கட்டும்படி அவர் என்னை நியமித்துள்ளார்.
