எஸ்றா 5:16
அப்பொழுது அந்தச் செஸ்பாத்சார் வந்து, எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் அஸ்திபாரத்தைப்போட்டான்; அந்நாள்முதல் இதுவரைக்கும் அது கட்டப்பட்டுவருகிறது; அது இன்னும் முடியவில்லை என்றார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அந்த செஸ்பாத்சார் வந்து, எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் அஸ்திபாரத்தைப் போட்டான்; அந்தநாள்முதல் இதுவரைக்கும் அது கட்டப்பட்டுவருகிறது; அது இன்னும் நிறைவடையவில்லை என்றார்கள்.

எனவே செஸ்பாத்சார் வந்து தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்திற்கு எருசலேமில் அஸ்திவாரம் அமைத்தான். அன்றிலிருந்து இன்று வரை வேலைத் தொடர்கிறது. ஆனால் அது இன்னும் முடியவில்லை.

எனவே சேஸ்பட்சர் திரும்பி வந்து எருசலேமில் கடவுளின் கோவிலுக்கு அடித்தளம் இட்டார். அதனால் அன்று முதல் இன்று வரை இது கட்டப்பட்டு வருகின்றது. ஆனால் அது முடிவு பெறவில்லை.
