மோசேயின் புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடியே, அவர்கள் எருசலேமிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய ஆராதனைக்கென்று ஆசாரியரை அவர்கள் வகுப்புகளின்படியும், லேவியரை அவர்கள்முறை வரிசைகளின்படியும் நிறுத்தினார்கள்.
