இப்பொழுதும் எங்கள் தேவனே, எங்கள் பொல்லாத செய்கைகளினாலும், எங்கள் பெரிய குற்றத்தினாலும், இவைகளெல்லாம் எங்கள்மேல் வந்தும், தேவரீர் எங்கள் அக்கிரமத்துக்குத்தக்க ஆக்கினையை எங்களுக்கு இடாமல், எங்கள் இப்படித் தப்பவிட்டிருக்கையில்,

“எங்களுடைய சொந்தத் தவறுகளால் தான் எங்களுக்கு தீமைகள் ஏற்பட்டன. நாங்கள் கெட்டவற்றைச் செய்திருக்கிறோம், எங்களிடம் நிறைய குற்றங்கள் உள்ளன. ஆனால், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய நீர் எங்களுக்குரிய தண்டனைகளைவிடக் குறைவாகவே தண்டித்தீர். நாங்கள் பயங்கரமான பாவங்களைச் செய்திருக்கிறோம். நாங்கள் மிக மோசமாகத் தண்டிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கவேண்டும். ஆனால் நீர் எங்களை அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து மீட்டிருக்கின்றீர்.
