அப்படியிராதபடியால், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்படும்படி வேதம் எல்லாரையும் ஏகமாய்ப் பாவத்தின்கீழ் அடைத்துப்போட்டது.

அப்படி இல்லாததினால், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிக்கும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே பலிக்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம் விசுவாசம் உள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்படி வேதம் எல்லாவற்றையும் பாவத்தின்கீழ் அடைத்துப்போட்டது.

ஆனால் இதுவும் உண்மை கிடையாது. ஏனென்றால் எல்லா மனிதர்களும் பாவத்தால் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளதாக வேதவாக்கியங்கள் கூறுகிறது. எனவே தேவனுடைய வாக்குறுதி, விசுவாசத்தின் மூலமே கிடைக்கிறது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைப்பவர்களுக்கே வாக்குறுதி வந்து சேரும்.
