ஆதியாகமம் 2:2
தேவன் தாம் செய்த தம்முடைய கிரியையை ஏழாம் நாளிலே நிறைவேற்றி, தாம் உண்டாக்கின தம்முடைய கிரியைகளை எல்லாம் முடித்தபின்பு, ஏழாம் நாளிலே ஓய்ந்திருந்தார்.

மேலும், கடவுள் தாம் செய்த வேலையை ஏழாம் நாளில் முடித்திருந்தார். அவர் தாம் செய்த வேலைகள் அனைத்தையும் நிறைவு பெறச்செய்து, ஏழாம் நாளில் ஓய்ந்திருந்தார்.
