ஆதியாகமம் 21:17
தேவன் பிள்ளையின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்; தேவதூதன் வானத்திலிருந்து ஆகாரைக் கூப்பிட்டு ஆகாரே, உனக்கு என்ன சம்பவித்தது, பயப்படாதே, பிள்ளையிருக்கும் இடத்திலே தேவன் அவன் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்.

தேவன் சிறுவனின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்; தேவதூதன் வானத்திலிருந்து ஆகாரைக் கூப்பிட்டு: ஆகாரே, உனக்கு என்ன சம்பவித்தது, பயப்படாதே, சிறுவன் இருக்கும் இடத்தில் தேவன் அவனுடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டார்.

சிறுவனின் அழுகையை தேவன் கேட்டார். தேவதூதன் வானத்திலிருந்து ஆகாரைக் கூப்பிட்டு: “ஆகாரே! உனக்கு என்ன நடந்தது? அஞ்ச வேண்டாம், கர்த்தர் சிறுவனின் அழுகையைக் கேட்டார்.

அப்போது கடவுள் பையனின் அழுகுரலைக் கேட்டார். ஆண்டவரின் தூதர் வானத்தினின்று ஆகாரைக் கூப்பிட்டு, “ஆகார்! உனக்கு நிகழ்ந்தது என்ன? அஞ்சாதே. ஏனெனில், கிடத்தியிருக்கிற இடத்தினின்று பையனின் அழுகுரலை கடவுள் கேட்டருளினார்.
