ஆகையால், நீ எனக்காவது, என் குமாரனுக்காவது, என் பேரனுக்காவது வஞ்சனை செய்யாமல், நான் உனக்குச் செய்த தயவின்படியே, நீ எனக்கும், நீ தங்கியிருக்கிற இந்தத் தேசத்திற்கும், தயவு செய்வேன் என்று இங்கே தேவன் பேரில் எனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடு என்றான்.

ஆகையால், நீ எனக்காவது, என் மகனுக்காவது, பேரனுக்காவது வஞ்சனை செய்யாமல், நான் உனக்குச் செய்த தயவின்படியே, நீ எனக்கும், நீ தங்கியிருக்கிற இந்தத் தேசத்திற்கும், தயவு செய்வேன் என்று இங்கே தேவன் பேரில் எனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடு என்றான்.

எனவே இப்போது எனக்கு தேவனுக்கு முன்பு ஒரு வாக்குறுதி கொடு. நீ என்னோடும், என் பிள்ளைகளோடும் நியாயமாக நடந்துகொள்வேன் என்றும், நீ என்னோடும், நீ வாழ்கிற இந்தத் தேசத்தோடும் கருணையாய் இருப்பேன் என்றும் வாக்குறுதிகொடு. நான் உன்னோடு கருணையாய் இருப்பதுபோன்று நீ என்னோடு கருணையாய் இருப்பதாக உறுதியளி” என்று கேட்டனர்.

ஆகையால், எனக்கும் என் புதல்வருக்கும் என் இனத்தாருக்கும் நீர் வஞ்சனை செய்யாமல், உமக்கு நான் இரக்கம் காட்டியதுபோல எனக்கும், நீர் பிழைப்புக்காக வந்த இந்த நாட்டிற்கும், நீர் இரக்கம் காட்டுவதாகக் கடவுள் பெயரால் ஆணையிட்டு எனக்கு வாக்களியும்” என்றான்.
