என்னை என் தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டிலும் என் இனத்தார் இருக்கிற தேசத்திலுமிருந்து அழைத்து வந்தவரும், உன் சந்ததிக்கு இந்த தேசத்தைத் தருவேன் என்று எனக்குச் சொல்லி ஆணையிட்டவருமான வானத்துக்குத் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், நீ அங்கேயிருந்து என் குமாரனுக்கு ஒரு பெண்ணைக் கொண்டுவரும்படிக்கு, தம்முடைய தூதனை உனக்கு முன்பாக அனுப்புவார்.

வானத்திற்கு தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னை என் தாய் நாட்டிலிருந்து இங்கு அழைத்து வந்துள்ளார். அது என் தந்தைக்கும் என் குடும்பத்திற்கும் தாய்நாடு. ஆனால் கர்த்தர் இந்தப் புதிய நாடே எனது குடும்பத்தின் தாய்நாடு என்று வாக்குறுதிச் செய்திருக்கிறார். எனவே கர்த்தர் தன் தூதனை உனக்கு முன் அனுப்புவாராக. பெண்ணைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க உனக்கு உதவுவார்.

தந்தை வீட்டினின்றும் நான் பிறந்த நாட்டினின்றும் என்னை அழைத்து வந்து என்னோடு பேசி, ‘இந்த நாட்டை உன் வழிமரபினருக்குத் தருவேன்’ என்று ஆணையிட்டுக் கூறிய அந்த விண்ணுலகின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரே உனக்கு முன் தம் தூதரை அனுப்பி வைப்பார். நீ போய், அங்கே என் மகனுக்குப் பெண்கொள்.
