இணை வசனம்

ஆபிரகாம் வயது சென்று முதிர்ந்தவனானான். கர்த்தர் ஆபிரகாமைச் சகல காரியங்களிலும் ஆசீர்வதித்து வந்தார்.

இந்தத் தேசத்திலே வாசம்பண்ணு; நான் உன்னோடேகூட இருந்து, உன்னை ஆசீர்வதிப்பேன்; நான் உனக்கும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் இந்தத் தேசங்கள் யாவையும் தந்து, உன் தகப்பனாகிய ஆபிரகாமுக்கு நான் இட்ட ஆணையை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

கர்த்தர் யோபின் முன்னிலைமையைப் பார்க்கிலும் அவன் பின்னிலைமையை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்; பதினாலாயிரம் ஆடுகளும், ஆறாயிரம் ஒட்டகங்களும், ஆயிரம் ஏர்களும், ஆயிரம் கழுதைகளும் அவனுக்கு உண்டாயின.

கர்த்தர் என் எஜமானை மிகவும் ஆசீர்வதித்திருக்கிறார், அவர் சீமானாயிருக்கிறார்; கர்த்தர் அவருக்கு ஆடுமாடுகளையும், வெள்ளியையும், பொன்னையும், வேலைக்காரரையும், வேலைக்காரிகளையும், ஒட்டகங்களையும், கழுதைகளையும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.

விதைப்புச் சமாதானமுள்ளதாயிருக்கும்; திராட்சச்செடி தன் கனியைத் தரும்; பூமி தன் பலனைத் தரும்; வானம் தன் பனியைத் தரும்; இந்த ஜனத்தில் மீதியானவர்கள் இதையெல்லாம் சுதந்தரிக்கக் கட்டளையிடுவேன்.

சில விதையோ நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்து, சிலது நூறாகவும், சிலது அறுபதாகவும், சிலது முப்பதாகவும் பலன் தந்தது.

நல்ல நிலத்தில் விதைக்கப்பட்டவனோ, வசனத்தைக் கேட்கிறவனும் உணருகிறவனுமாயிருந்து, நூறாகவும் அறுபதாகவும், முப்பதாகவும் பலன் தருவான் என்றார்.

சில விதை நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்து, ஓங்கிவளருகிற பயிராகி, ஒன்று முப்பதும், ஒன்று அறுபதும், ஒன்று நூறுமாகப் பலன் தந்தது.

நான் நட்டேன், அப்பொல்லோ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சினான், தேவனே விளையச்செய்தார்.

நாங்கள் உம்மைத் தொடாமல், நன்மையையே உமக்குச் செய்து, உம்மைச் சமாதானத்தோடே அனுப்பிவிட்டதுபோல, நீரும் எங்களுக்குத் தீங்கு செய்யாதபடிக்கு உம்மோடே உடன்படிக்கை பண்ணிக்கொள்ள வந்தோம்; நீர் கர்த்தரால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவராமே என்றார்கள்.

பூமி தன் பலனைத் தரும், தேவனாகிய எங்கள் தேவனே எங்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.

பூமியிலே மலைகளின் உச்சிகளில் ஒரு பிடி தானியம் விதைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்; அதின் விளைவு லீபனோனைப்போல அசையும்; பூமியின் புல்லைப்போல நகரத்தார் செழித்தோங்குவார்கள்.

காலையிலே உன் விதையை விதை; மாலையிலே உன் கையை நெகிழவிடாதே; அதுவோ, இதுவோ, எது வாய்க்குமோ என்றும், இரண்டும் சரியாய்ப் பயன்படுமோ என்றும் நீ அறியாயே.

விதைக்கிறவனுக்கு விதையையும், புசிக்கிறதற்கு ஆகாரத்தையும் அளிக்கிறவர் உங்களுக்கு விதையை அளித்து, அதைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் நீதியின் விளைச்சலை வர்த்திக்கச் செய்வார்.

மோசம்போகாதிருங்கள், தேவன் தம்மைப் பரியாசம்பண்ணவொட்டார்; மனுஷன் எதை விதைக்கிறானோ அதையே அறுப்பான்.
