லேயாள் கர்ப்பவதியாகி ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று: கர்த்தர் என் சிறுமையைப் பார்த்தருளினார்; இப்பொழுது என் புருஷன் என்னை நேசிப்பார் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு ரூபன் என்று பேரிட்டாள்.

லேயா கருத்தாங்கி ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்றெடுத்தார். ‘ஆண்டவர் என் தாழ்நிலையைக் கண்ணோக்கினார். இப்பொழுது என் கணவர் என்மீது அன்புகூர்வார் என்பது உறுதி’ என்று கூறி, அவனுக்கு ‘ரூபன்’* என்று பெயரிட்டார்.
