இணை வசனம்

அப்பொழுது ஏசா யாக்கோபை நோக்கி: அந்தச் சிவப்பான கூழிலே நான் சாப்பிடக் கொஞ்சம் தா, இளைத்திருக்கிறேன் என்றான்; இதனாலே அவனுக்கு ஏதோம் என்கிற பேர் உண்டாயிற்று.

ஈசாக்குக்கு யாக்கோபையும் ஏசாவையும் கட்டளையிட்டு, ஏசாவுக்குச் சேயீர் மலைத்தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரிக்கும்படி கொடுத்தேன்; யாக்கோபும் அவன் பிள்ளைகளுமோ எகிப்துக்குப் போனார்கள்.

சேயீர் மலைகளில் இருந்த ஓரியரையும், வனாந்தரத்துக்கு அருகான எல்பாரான்மட்டும் முறியடித்து,

என் ஆண்டவனாகிய நீர் உமது அடியானுக்கு முன்னே போம்; நான் சேயீருக்கு என் ஆண்டவனிடத்தில் வருமளவும், எனக்குமுன் நடக்கிற மந்தைகளின் கால் நடைக்கும் பிள்ளைகளின் கால்நடைக்கும் தக்கதாக, மெதுவாய் அவைகளை நடத்திக்கொண்டு வருகிறேன் என்றான்.

அவர்களோடே போர்ச்செய்யவேண்டாம்; அவர்கள் தேசத்திலே ஒரு அடி நிலமும் உங்களுக்குக் கொடேன்; சேயீர் மலைநாட்டை ஏசாவுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன்.

யாக்கோபைத் தன் தகப்பன் ஆசீர்வதித்ததினிமித்தம் ஏசா யாக்கோபைப் பகைத்து: என் தகப்பனுக்காகத் துக்கிக்கும் நாட்கள் சீக்கிரமாய் வரும், அப்பொழுது என் சகோதரனாகிய யாக்கோபைக் கொன்றுபோடுவேன் என்று ஏசா தன் இருதயத்திலே சொல்லிக் கொண்டான்.

அன்றைத்தினம் ஏசா திரும்பித் தான் வந்த வழியே சேயீருக்குப் போனான்.

ஏசா தன் மனைவிகளையும், தன் குமாரரையும், தன் குமாரத்திகளையும், தன் வீட்டிலுள்ள யாவரையும், தன் ஆடுமாடுகளையும், மற்ற ஜீவஜந்துக்கள் யாவையும் தான் கானான் தேசத்திலே சம்பாதித்த ஆஸ்தி முழுவதையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, தன் சகோதரனாகிய யாக்கோபை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து வேறே தேசத்துக்குப் போனான்.

கப்தோரிலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட கப்தோரியர் ஆசேரீம் தொடங்கி ஆசாமட்டும் குடியிருந்த ஆவியரை அழித்து, அவர்கள் இருந்த ஸ்தானத்திலே குடியேறினதுபோலவும்,

இதோ நான் என் தூதனை அனுப்புகிறேன், அவன் எனக்கு முன்பாகப் போய், வழியை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணுவான்; அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் தேடுகிற ஆண்டவரும் நீங்கள் விரும்புகிற உடன்படிக்கையின் தூதனுமானவர் தம்முடைய ஆலயத்துக்குத் தீவிரமாய் வருவார்; இதோ, வருகிறார் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

தமக்கு முன்னாகத் தூதர்களை அனுப்பினார். அவர்கள் போய், அவருக்கு இடத்தை ஆயத்தம்பண்ணும்படி சமாரியருடைய ஒரு கிராமத்திலே பிரவேசித்தார்கள்.

அன்றியும் ஒரு ராஜா மற்றொரு ராஜாவோடே யுத்தஞ்செய்யப் போகிறபோது, தன்மேல் இருபதினாயிரம் சேவகரோடே வருகிற அவனைத் தான் பதினாயிரம் சேவகரைக்கொண்டு எதிர்க்கக் கூடுமோ கூடாதோ என்று முன்பு உட்கார்ந்து ஆலோசனைபண்ணாமலிருப்பானோ?
