அப்பொழுது அவன்: நீ போய், உன் சகோதரருடைய ேமம் எப்படி என்றும், ஆடுகள் எப்படி இருக்கிறது என்றும் பார்த்து, எனக்கு மறுசெய்தி கொண்டுவா என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லி, எபிரோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே இருந்து அவனை அனுப்பினான்; அந்தப்படியே அவன் சீகேமுக்குப் போனான்.

அப்பொழுது அவன்: நீ போய், உன் சகோதரர்கள் எப்படி இருக்கிறார்கள் என்றும், ஆடுகள் எப்படி இருக்கிறது என்றும் பார்த்து, எனக்கு மறுசெய்தி கொண்டுவா என்று அவனுக்குச் சொல்லி, எபிரோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே இருந்து அவனை அனுப்பினான்; அந்தப்படியே அவன் சீகேமுக்குப் போனான்.

யாக்கோபு அவனிடம், “போய் உன் சகோதரர்களும், ஆடுகளும் பத்திரமாக இருக்கிறார்களா என்று பார்த்து வா” என்றான். அவனை எபிரோன் சமவெளியிலிருந்து சீகேமிற்கு அனுப்பினான்.

அவர் அவரிடம், “நீ போய் உன் சகோதரர், மந்தைகள் நலமா என்று விசாரித்து வந்து எனக்குத் தெரிவி” என்று சொல்லி, எபிரோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலிருந்து அவரை அனுப்பினார். அவரும் செக்கேமிற்கு வந்தார்.
