அவர்களை நோக்கி: அவனைக் கொல்ல வேண்டாம், நீங்கள் இரத்தம் சிந்தலாகாது; நீங்கள் அவன்மேல் கை வையாமல், அவனை வனாந்தரத்திலுள்ள இந்தக் குழியிலே போட்டுவிடுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, இவ்விதமாய் ரூபன் அவனை அவர்கள் கைக்குத் தப்புவித்தான்.

அவர்களை நோக்கி: அவனைக் கொல்லவேண்டாம், நீங்கள் இரத்தம் சிந்தக்கூடாது; நீங்கள் அவன்மேல் கைகளை வைக்காமல், அவனை வனாந்திரத்திலுள்ள இந்தக் குழியிலே போட்டுவிடுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, இந்த விதமாக ரூபன் அவனை அவர்களிடமிருந்து தப்புவித்தான்.

அவனைத் தூக்கி பாலைவனத்திலுள்ள இந்தக் கிணற்றில் போட்டுவிடுங்கள்” என்றான். பிறகு அவனைக் காப்பாற்றி தந்தையிடம் அனுப்பலாம் என்று அவன் திட்டம் போட்டான்.

ரூபன் அவர்கள் நோக்கி, “அவன் இரத்தத்தை சிந்தாதீர்கள். அவனைக் பாலை நிலத்திலுள்ள இந்த ஆழ்குழிக்குள் தள்ளவிடுங்கள். அவன் மீது கை வைக்காதீர்கள்” என்று சொன்னார். ஏனெனில் அவர் அவர்கள் கையிலிருந்து அவரைத் தப்புவித்துத் தம் தந்தையிடம் சேர்ப்பிக்கும் நோக்கம் கொண்டிருந்தார்.
