யோசேப்பு அத்தேசத்துக்கு அதிபதியாயிருந்து, தேசத்தின் ஜனங்கள் யாவருக்கும் விற்றான். யோசேப்பின் சகோதரர் வந்து, முகங்குப்புறத் தரையிலே விழுந்து அவனை வணங்கினார்கள்.

யோசேப்புதான் எகிப்தின் ஆளுநராக அச்சமயத்தில் இருந்தான். எகிப்துக்கு வரும் ஜனங்களுக்கு விற்கப்படும் தானியத்தைக் கண்காணிக்கும் பொறுப்பு அவனிடமே இருந்தது. எனவே யோசேப்பின் சகோதரர்கள் அவனிடம் வந்து குனிந்து வணங்கி நின்றனர்.

அப்பொழுது, யோசேப்பு நாட்டுக்கு ஆளுநராய் இருந்து மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் தானியம் விற்கும் அதிகாரம் பெற்றிருந்தார். எனவே, அவருடைய சகோதரர்கள் வந்து, தரைமட்டும் தாழ்ந்து யோசேப்பை வணங்கினார்கள்.
