தாங்கள் யோசேப்பின் வீட்டுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகப்படுகிறதை அவர்கள் கண்டு பயந்து, முன்னே நம்முடைய சாக்குகளில் இருந்த பணத்தினிமித்தம் நம்மேல் குற்றம் சுமத்தி, நம்மைப் பிடித்துச் சிறைகளாக்கி, நம்முடைய கழுதைகளை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்படி நம்மைக் கொண்டுபோகிறார்கள் என்று சொல்லி,

அவர்கள் யோசேப்பின் வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டபோது பயந்தனர். “சென்ற முறை பணத்தை பைக்குள்ளே போட்டுவிட்டதால் இப்போது தனது வீட்டிற்கு அழைக்கிறார். அது நமக்கு எதிரான சாட்சியாகப் பயன்படுத்தப்படும். நமது கழுதைகளைப் பறித்துக்கொண்டு நம்மை அடிமைகளாக்கிவிடுவார்கள்” என்று பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

யோசேப்பின் வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்து வரப்பட்டதால் அவர்கள் அச்சமுற்றனர். ஏனெனில், ‘முன்பு நம் கோணிப்பைகளில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பணத்தை முன்னிட்டே இங்குக் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டுள்ளோம். நம்மைத் தாக்கி மடக்கி அடிமைகளாக்கி நம் கழுதைகளைக் கைப்பற்றிக் கொள்ளுமாறு இவ்வாறு கொண்டுவந்திருக்கிறார்களோ?’ என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டனர்.
