மனுஷனுடைய அக்கிரமம் பூமியிலே பெருகினது என்றும், அவன் இருதயத்து நினைவுகளின் தோற்றமெல்லாம் நித்தமும் பொல்லாததே என்றும், கர்த்தர் கண்டு,

பூமியில் உள்ள மனிதர்கள் அனைவரும் பெரும் பாவிகளாக இருப்பதைக் கர்த்தர் அறிந்தார். அவர்கள் எல்லாக் காலத்திலும் பாவ எண்ணங்களையே கொண்டிருப்பதைக் கர்த்தர் பார்த்தார்.
