அப்பொழுது கானானுக்குத் தகப்பனாகிய காம் தன் தகப்பனுடைய நிர்வாணத்தைக் கண்டு, வெளியில் இருந்த தன் சகோதரர் இருவருக்கும் அறிவித்தான்.
