ஆகையால் அவைகளினால் தன்பங்கு கொழுப்புள்ளதும், தன் போஜனம் ருசிகரமுள்ளதுமாயிற்று என்று சொல்லி அவன் தன் வலைக்குப் பலியிட்டுத் தன் பறிக்குத் தூபங்காட்டுகிறான்.

அவனது வலை அவன் செல்வந்தனாக வாழ்ந்து நல்ல உணவை உண்டு மகிழ உதவுகிறது. எனவே பகைவன் தனது வலைகளை தொழுதுகொள்கிறான், அவன் தனது வலையைக் கௌரவப்படுத்த பலிகளை செலுத்தி நறுமணப் பொருட்களையும் எரிக்கிறான்.

⁽ஆதலால், தங்கள் வலைக்குப்␢ பலி செலுத்துகின்றார்கள்;␢ பறிக்குத் தூபம் காட்டுகின்றார்கள்;␢ ஏனெனில் அவற்றாலேயே␢ இன்பமான வாழ்வை அடைகின்றார்கள்;␢ அறுசுவை உணவைப் பெறுகின்றார்கள்.⁾
