நீ மகிமையினால் அல்ல, இலச்சையினால் நிரப்பப்படுவாய்; நீயும் குடித்து விருத்தசேதனமில்லாதவன் என்று விளங்கு; கர்த்தருடைய வலதுகையில் இருக்கிற பாத்திரம் உன்னிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பும்; உன் மகிமையின்மேல் இலச்சையான வாந்திபண்ணுவாய்.

“ஆனால், அந்த மனிதன் கர்த்தருடைய கோபத்தை அறிவான். அக்கோபமானது கர்த்தருடைய வலதுகையில் உள்ள விஷம் நிறைந்த கிண்ணத்தைப் போன்றது. அம்மனிதன் அக்கோபத்தைச் சுவைப்பான். அவன் குடிக்காரனைப்போன்று கீழே தரையில் விழுவான். “தீமையான அரசனே, நீ அக்கிண்ணத்திலிருந்து குடிப்பாய். நீ மகிமையை அல்ல அவமானத்தைப் பெறுவாய்.
