கர்த்தாவே, நீர் வெளிப்படுத்தினதை நான் கேட்டேன், எனக்குப் பயமுண்டாயிற்று; கர்த்தாவே, வருஷங்களின் நடுவிலே உம்முடைய கிரியையை உயிர்ப்பியும், வருஷங்களின் நடுவிலே அதை விளங்கப்பண்ணும், கோபித்தாலும் இரக்கத்தை நினைத்தருளும்.

கர்த்தாவே, நீர் வெளிப்படுத்தினதை நான் கேட்டேன், எனக்குப் பயமுண்டானது; கர்த்தாவே, வருடங்களின் நடுவிலே உம்முடைய செயலை உயிர்ப்பியும், வருடங்களின் நடுவிலே அதை விளங்கச்செய்யும்; கோபித்தாலும் இரக்கத்தை நினைத்தருளும்.

கர்த்தாவே, நான் உம்மைப்பற்றிய செய்திகளைக் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன். கர்த்தாவே, நீர் கடந்த காலத்தில் செய்த வல்லமைமிக்க செயல்களால் ஆச்சரியப்படுகிறேன். இப்பொழுது நான், நீர் எங்கள் காலத்தில் பெருஞ் செயல்கள் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று ஜெபிக்கிறேன். தயவுசெய்து அச்செயல்கள் எங்கள் காலத்தில் நிகழுமாறு செய்யும். ஆனால் நீர் கோபங்கொள்ளும்போதும் எங்கள் மீது இரக்கம் காட்ட நினைத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
