கருக்காயினாலும் விஷப்பனியினாலும் கல்மழையினாலும் உங்களை உங்கள் கைகளின் வேலையிலெல்லாம் அடித்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் மனந்திரும்பாமல்போனீர்களென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

பிஞ்சுக்காய்களினாலும், விஷப்பனியினாலும், கல்மழையினாலும் உங்களை உங்கள் கைகளின் வேலைகளிலெல்லாம் அடித்தேன்; ஆனாலும் நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் மனதைத் திருப்பாமல்போனீர்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஏனென்றால், நான் உங்களைத் தண்டித்தேன். உங்கள் பயிர்களை அழிப்பதற்குரிய நோய்களை அனுப்பினேன். நான் கல் மழையை உங்கள் கைகளால் செய்தவற்றை அழிக்க அனுப்பினேன். நான் இவற்றைச் செய்தேன். ஆனால் நீங்கள் இன்னமும் என்னிடம் வரவில்லை.’ கர்த்தரே இவற்றைச் சொன்னார்” என்றான்.
