ஜாதிகளே, அவருடைய ஜனங்களோடேகூடக் களிகூருங்கள்; அவர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் இரத்தத்திற்குப் பழிவாங்கி, தம்முடைய சத்துருக்களுக்குப் பதிலளித்து, தமது தேசத்தின்மேலும் தமது ஜனங்களின்மேலும் கிருபையுள்ளவராவார்.

சொரூபங்களை வணங்கி, விக்கிரகங்களைப்பற்றிப் பெருமைபாராட்டுகிற யாவரும் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போவார்களாக; தேவர்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்.

தம்முடைய குமாரன் அநேக சகோதரருக்குள்ளே முதற்பேறானவராயிருக்கும்பொருட்டு, தேவன் எவர்களை முன்னறிந்தாரோ அவர்களைத் தமது குமாரனுடைய சாயலுக்கு ஒப்பாயிருப்பதற்கு முன்குறித்திருக்கிறார்;

அவரே சபையாகிய சரீரத்துக்குத் தலையானவர்; எல்லாவற்றிலும் முதல்வராயிருக்கும்படி, அவரே ஆதியும் மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுந்த முதற்பேறுமானவர்.

அந்த வார்த்தை மாம்சமாகி, கிருபையினாலும் சத்தியத்தினாலும் நிறைந்தவராய், நமக்குள்ளே வாசம்பண்ணினார்; அவருடைய மகிமையைக் கண்டோம்; அது பிதாவுக்கு ஒரே பேறானவருடைய மகிமைக்கு ஏற்ற மகிமையாகவே இருந்தது.

தேவன், தம்முடைய ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை விசுவாசிக்கிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படிக்கு, அவரைத் தந்தருளி, இவ்வளவாய் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தார்.

அவர் அதரிசனமான தேவனுடைய தற்சுரூபமும், சர்வ சிருஷ்டிக்கும் முந்தின பேறுமானவர்.

தம்முடைய ஒரே பேறான குமாரனாலே நாம் பிழைக்கும்படிக்கு தேவன் அவரை இவ்வுலகத்திலே அனுப்பினதினால் தேவன் நம்மேல் வைத்த அன்பு வெளிப்பட்டது.

ஆழங்களும், ஜலம் புரண்டுவரும் ஊற்றுகளும் உண்டாகுமுன்னே நான் ஜநிப்பிக்கப்பட்டேன்.

அவ்வேளையில் கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவர்களிடத்திலே வந்து நின்றான், கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் பிரகாசித்தது; அவர்கள் மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள்.

எப்படியெனில், நீர் என்னுடைய குமாரன், இன்று நான் உம்மை ஜெநிப்பித்தேன் என்றும்; நான் அவருக்குப் பிதாவாயிருப்பேன், அவர் எனக்குக் குமாரனாயிருப்பார் என்றும், அவர் தூதர்களில் யாருக்காவது எப்போதாகிலும் சொன்னதுண்டா?

ஆகையால் அவர் உலகத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது: பலியையும் காணிக்கையையும் நீர் விரும்பவில்லை, ஒரு சரீரத்தை எனக்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினீர்;

அவர் பரலோகத்திற்குப் போய், தேவனுடைய வலதுபாரிசத்தில் இருக்கிறார்; தேவதூதர்களும் அதிகாரங்களும் வல்லமைகளும் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
