அவர் தமக்குமுன் வைத்திருந்த சந்தோஷத்தின்பொருட்டு, அவமானத்தை எண்ணாமல், சிலுவையைச் சகித்து, தேவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.

அவர் தமக்குமுன்பாக வைத்திருந்த சந்தோஷத்தின்பொருட்டு, அவமானத்தை நினைக்காமல், சிலுவையைச் சகித்து, தேவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் வலதுபக்கத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.

நாம் இயேசுவை முன்மாதிரியாகக்கொண்டு பின்பற்ற வேண்டும். நம் விசுவாசத்தின் தலைவரே இயேசுதான். நம் விசுவாசத்தை அவர் முழுமையாக்குகிறார். அவர் சிலுவையில் துன்புற்று மரணம் அடைந்தார். ஆனால் சிலுவையின் அவமானத்தைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் சிலுவையின் துன்பங்களை அவர் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். தேவன் அவருக்கு முன்னால் வைக்கப்போகிற மகிழ்ச்சிக்காகவே இத்தனையையும் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். எனவே இப்போது அவர் தேவனுடைய வலது புறத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.

நம்பிக்கையைத் தொடங்கி வழி நடத்துபவரும் அதை நிறைவு செய்பவருமான இயேசுவின் மீது கண்களைப் பதிய வைப்போம். அவர் தாம் அடையவிருந்த மகிழ்ச்சியின் பொருட்டு, இழிவையும் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் சிலுவையை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். இப்போது, கடவுளது அரியணையின் வலப்பக்கத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்.⒫
