மறுதலித்துப்போனவர்கள், தேவனுடைய குமாரனைத் தாங்களே மறுபடியும் சிலுவையில் அறைந்து அவமானப்படுத்துகிறபடியால், மனந்திரும்புகிறதற்கேதுவாய் அவர்களை மறுபடியும் புதுப்பிக்கிறது கூடாதகாரியம்.

இணை வசனம்

தேவனுடைய குமாரனைக் காலின்கீழ் மிதித்து, தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தஞ்செய்த உடன்படிக்கையின் இரத்தத்தை அசுத்தமென்றெண்ணி, கிருபையின் ஆவியை நிந்திக்கிறவன் எவ்வளவு கொடிதான ஆக்கினைக்குப் பாத்திரவானாயிருப்பானென்பதை யோசித்துப்பாருங்கள்.

துரோகிகளும் பாவிகளுமோ ஏகமாய் நொறுங்குண்டு போவார்கள்; கர்த்தரைவிட்டு விலகுகிறவர்கள் நிர்மூலமாவார்கள்.

ஏனெனில், ஒருதரம் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கப்பட்டும், பரமஈவை ருசிபார்த்தும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியைப் பெற்றும்,

அவர்கள் நீதியின் மார்க்கத்தை அறிந்த பின்பு தங்களுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த கற்பனையை விட்டு விலகுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதை அறியாதிருந்தார்களானால் அவர்களுக்கு நலமாயிருக்கும்.

மரணத்துக்கு ஏதுவல்லாத பாவத்தைத் தன் சகோதரன் செய்ய ஒருவன் கண்டால், அவன் வேண்டுதல்செய்யக்கடவன், அப்பொழுது அவனுக்கு ஜீவனைக் கொடுப்பார்; யாருக்கென்றால், மரணத்துக்கு ஏதுவல்லாத பாவத்தைச் செய்தவர்களுக்கே; மரணத்துக்கு ஏதுவான பாவமுண்டு, அதைக்குறித்து வேண்டுதல்செய்ய நான் சொல்லேன்.

அந்த வழியாய் நடந்துபோகிறவர்கள் தங்கள் தலையைத் துலுக்கி: ஆ! ஆ! தேவாலயத்தை இடித்து, மூன்று நாளைக்குள்ளே கட்டுகிறவனே,

இயேசு, அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: மனுஷரால் இது கூடாததுதான்; தேவனாலே எல்லாம் கூடும் என்றார்.

அப்பொழுது, அவருடைய வலது பக்கத்தில் ஒருவனும் அவருடைய இடது பக்கத்தில் ஒருவனுமாக இரண்டு கள்ளர் அவரோடேகூடச் சிலுவைகளில் அறையப்பட்டார்கள்.

தேவனே, சுத்த இருதயத்தை என்னிலே சிருஷ்டியும், நிலைவரமான ஆவியை என் உள்ளத்திலே புதுப்பியும்.

நான் தாவீது குடும்பத்தாரின்மேலும் எருசலேம் குடிகளின்மேலும் கிருபையின் ஆவியையும் விண்ணப்பங்களின் ஆவியையும் ஊற்றுவேன். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தாங்கள் குத்தின என்னை நோக்கிப் பார்த்து, ஒருவன் தன் ஒரே பேறானவனுக்காகப் புலம்புகிறதுபோல எனக்காகப் புலம்பி, ஒருவன் தன் தலைச்சன் பிள்ளைக்காகத் துக்கிக்கிறதுபோல எனக்காக மனங்கசந்து துக்கிப்பார்கள்.

ஆகையால், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் கொலை செய்தவர்களுக்குப் புத்திரராயிருக்கிறீர்கள் என்று உங்களைக்குறித்து நீங்களே சாட்சிகளாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்.

ஆகையால் உங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கிரியைகளுக்கு நீங்களும் உடன்பட்டவர்களென்று சாட்சியிடுகிறீர்கள்; எப்படியென்றால், உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் அவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்தார்கள், நீங்களோ அவர்களுக்குக் கல்லறைகளைக் கட்டுகிறீர்கள்.
