அவர்கள் நடுவிலே நான் வாசம் பண்ண, எனக்கு ஒரு பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை உண்டாக்குவார்களாக.

பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலும், மனுஷராலல்ல, கர்த்தரால் ஸ்தாபிக்கப்பட்ட மெய்யான கூடாரத்திலும் ஆசாரிய ஊழியஞ்செய்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிற பிரதான ஆசாரியர் நமக்கு உண்டு.

இவைகள் சீர்திருந்தல் உண்டாகும் காலம்வரைக்கும் நடந்தேறும்படி கட்டளையிடப்பட்ட போஜனபானங்களும், பலவித ஸ்நானங்களும், சரீரத்திற்கேற்ற சடங்குகளுமேயல்லாமல் வேறல்ல.

நீங்கள் குடியிருந்த எகிப்துதேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், நான் உங்களை அழைத்துப்போகிற கானான் தேசத்தாருடைய செய்கையின்படி செய்யாமலும், அவர்களுடைய முறைமைகளின்படி நடவாமலும்,

ஆகையால் உங்களுக்குமுன் செய்யப்பட்ட அருவருப்பான முறைமைகளில் யாதொன்றை நீங்கள் செய்து, அவைகளால் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாதபடிக்கு என் கட்டளையைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

ஆகையால் பரிசுத்தமானதை அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குகிறதினாலே, பாவம் சுமந்து அதினிமித்தம் சாகாதபடிக்கு, என் கட்டளையைக் காக்கக்கடவர்கள்; நான் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர்.

விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் அதில் ஒன்றும் மீதியாக வைக்காமலும், அதில் ஒரு எலும்பையும் முறிக்காமலும், பஸ்காவினுடைய சகல முறைமைகளின்படியும் அதை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவர்கள்.

அவர்கள் செய்த எல்லாவற்றினிமித்தமும் வெட்கப்பட்டால், அப்பொழுது இந்த ஆலயத்தின் ரூபத்தையும், அதின் அளவையும், அதின் முன் வாசல்களையும், அதின் பின் வாசல்களையும், அதின் எல்லா ஒழுங்குகளையும், அதின் எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளையும், அதின் எல்லா நியமங்களையும் அதின் எல்லாச் சட்டங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி, அவர்கள் அதினுடைய எல்லா ஒழுங்குகளையும், அதினுடைய எல்லா முறைமைகளையும் கைக்கொண்டு அவைகளின்படி செய்யும்படிக்கு அதை அவர்கள் கண்களுக்குமுன்பாக எழுதிவை.

அவர்கள் இருவரும் கர்த்தரிட்ட சகல கற்பனைகளின்படியேயும் நியமங்களின்படியேயும் குற்றமற்றவர்களாய் நடந்து, தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக நீதியுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தார்கள்.

லெளகிக ஞானத்தினாலும், மாயமான தந்திரத்தினாலும், ஒருவனும் உங்களைக் கொள்ளைகொண்டுபோகாதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்; அது மனுஷர்களின் பாரம்பரிய நியாயத்தையும் உலகவழிபாடுகளையும் பற்றினதேயேல்லாமல் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பற்றினதல்ல.

அந்த முதலாம் உடன்படிக்கை பிழைத்திருந்ததானால், இரண்டாம் உடன்படிக்கைக்கு இடம் தேடவேண்டுவதில்லையே.

புது உடன்படிக்கை என்று அவர் சொல்லுகிறதினாலே முந்தினதைப் பழமையாக்கினார்; பழமையானதும் நாள்பட்டதுமாயிருக்கிறது உருவழிந்துபோகக் காலம் சமீபித்திருக்கிறது.
