அவர்கள் தங்கள் படுக்கைகளில் அலறுகிறபோது, தங்கள் இருதயத்தில் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறதில்லை; அவர்கள் தானியத்துக்காகவும் திராட்சரசத்துக்காகவும் கூடுகிறார்கள்; என்னை வெறுத்து விலகிப்போகிறார்கள்.

அவர்கள் தம் மனப்பூர்வமாக என்னை எப்பொழுதும் அழைக்கிறதில்லை. ஆம் அவர்கள் தங்கள் படுக்கையிலிருந்து அழுகின்றார்கள். தானியத்திற்காகவும் புதுத் திராட்சை ரசத்திற்காகவும் கேட்கும்போது தங்களைத் தாங்களே வெட்டிக்கொள்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களின் இதயங்களில் அவர்கள் என்னிடமிருந்து விலகியிருக்கிறார்கள்.
