ராஜ்யங்களுக்குள் அலங்காரமும் கல்தேயருடைய பிரதான மகிமையுமாகிய பாபிலோனானது தேவனால் சோதோமும் கொமோராவும் கவிழ்க்கப்பட்டதுபோல கவிழ்க்கப்படும்.

பாபிலோன் அழிக்கப்படும். அது சோதோம் கொமோரா ஆகியவற்றின் அழிவைப்போல் இருக்கும். தேவன் இந்த அழிவுக்குக் காரணமாக இருப்பார். எதுவும் விடுபடாது. “எல்லா இராஜ்யங்களையும்விட பாபிலோன் மிகவும் அழகானது. பாபிலோனிய ஜனங்கள் தமது நகரத்தைப்பற்றிப் பெருமையோடு இருக்கிறார்கள்.
