இதோ, ஒரு ஜோடு குதிரை பூண்ட இரதத்தின்மேல் ஏறியிருக்கிற ஒரு மனுஷன் வருகிறான்; பாபிலோன் விழுந்தது, விழுந்தது; அதின் விக்கிரகதேவர்களையெல்லாம் தரையோடே மோதி உடைத்தார் என்று பிரதியுத்தரம் சொல்லுகிறான்.

இதோ, ஒரு ஜோடி குதிரை பூட்டப்பட்ட இரதத்தின்மேல் ஏறியிருக்கிற ஒரு மனிதன் வருகிறான்; பாபிலோன் விழுந்தது, விழுந்தது; அதின் தெய்வங்களுடைய சிலைகளையெல்லாம் தரையோடே மோதி உடைத்தார் என்று மறுமொழி சொல்கிறான்.

பாருங்கள்! அவர்கள் வந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்! நான் மனிதர்கள் மற்றும் குதிரை வீரர்களின் வரிசைகளைப் பார்க்கிறேன்” என்று காவல்காரன் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தான். பிறகு, ஒரு தூதுவன், “பாபிலோன் தோற்கடிக்கப்பட்டுவிட்டது. பாபிலோன் தரையில் விழுந்துவிட்டது. அங்குள்ள பொய்த் தெய்வங்களின் சிலைகள் எல்லாம் தரையில் வீசப்பட்டு துண்டுகளாக உடைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன” என்று சொன்னான்.

⁽இதோ, ஒரு சோடிக்␢ குதிரைகள் பூட்டப்பட்ட தேரில்,␢ ஏறி ஒருவர் வருகின்றார்.␢ அவர் பதிலுரையாக,␢ ‘பாபிலோன் வீழ்ந்தது,␢ வீழ்ச்சியடைந்து விட்டது;␢ அதன் தெய்வங்களின்␢ சிலைகள் அனைத்தையும் தரையில் மோதி␢ உடைக்கப்பட்டாயிற்று’ என்று கூறினார்.”⁾
