கர்த்தர் சீயோனுக்கு ஆறுதல்செய்வார்; அவர் அதின் பாழான ஸ்தலங்களையெல்லாம் தேறுதலடையச் செய்து, அதின் வனாந்தரத்தை ஏதேனைப்போலவும், அதின் அவாந்தரவெளியைக் கர்த்தரின் தோட்டத்தைப்போலவும் ஆக்குவார்; சந்தோஷமும் மகிழ்ச்சியும் துதியும் கீதசத்தமும் அதில் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.

நீங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியாய்ப் புறப்பட்டு, சமாதானமாய்க் கொண்டுபோகப்படுவீர்கள், பர்வதங்களும் மலைகளும் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீரமாய் முழங்கி, வெளியின் மரங்களெல்லாம் கைகொட்டும்.

உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளினிமித்தம் சீயோன் பர்வதம் மகிழ்வதாக, யூதாவின் குமாரத்திகள் களிகூருவார்களாக.

சீயோன் கேட்டு மகிழ்ந்தது; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளினிமித்தம் யூதாவின் குமாரத்திகள் களிகூர்ந்தார்கள்.

இஸ்ரவேலில் தப்பினவர்களுக்கு அந்நாளிலே கர்த்தரின் கிளை அலங்காரமும் மகிமையுமாயிருக்கும்; பூமியின் கனி அவர்களுக்குச் சிறப்பும் அலங்காரமுமாயிருக்கும்.

யாக்கோபு வேர்பற்றி, இஸ்ரவேல் பூத்துக்காய்த்து உலகத்தைப் பலனால் நிரப்பும் நாட்கள் வரும்.

அரணான நகரம் அவாந்தரையாகும், அந்த வாசஸ்தலம் தள்ளுண்டு வனாந்தரத்தைப்போல விட்டுவிடப்பட்டதாயிருக்கும்; கன்றுக்குட்டிகள் அங்கே மேய்ந்து, அங்கே படுத்துக்கொண்டு, அதின் தழைகளைத் தின்னும்.

இன்னும் கொஞ்சக் காலத்திலல்லவோ லீபனோன் செழிப்பான வயல்வெளியாக மாறும்; செழிப்பான வயல்வெளி காடாக எண்ணப்படும்.

உன்னதத்திலிருந்து நம்மேல் ஆவி ஊற்றப்படுமட்டும் அப்படியே இருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது வனாந்தரம் செழிப்பான வயல்வெளியாகும்; செழிப்பான வயல்வெளி காடாக எண்ணப்படும்.

கர்த்தருக்கு வழியை ஆயத்தப்படுத்துங்கள், அவாந்தரவெளியிலே நம்முடைய தேவனுக்குப் பாதையைச் செவ்வைபண்ணுங்கள் என்றும்,

உயர்ந்த மேடுகளில் ஆறுகளையும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளின் நடுவே ஊற்றுகளையும் திறந்து, வனாந்தரத்தைத் தண்ணீர்த் தடாகமும், வறண்டபூமியை நீர்க்கேணிகளுமாக்கி

எருசலேமின் பாழான ஸ்தலங்களே, முழங்கி ஏகமாய்க் கெம்பீரித்துப் பாடுங்கள்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்களுக்கு ஆறுதல்செய்து எருசலேமை மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

கர்த்தருக்குள் பூரிப்பாய் மகிழுகிறேன்; என் தேவனுக்குள் என் ஆத்துமா களிகூர்ந்திருக்கிறது; மணவாளன் ஆபரணங்களினால் தன்னை அலங்கரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதற்கும், மணவாட்டி நகைகளினால் தன்னைச் சிங்காரித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறதற்கும் ஒப்பாக, அவர் இரட்சிப்பின் வஸ்திரங்களை எனக்கு உடுத்தி, நீதியின் சால்வையை எனக்குத் தரித்தார்.

எருசலேமை நேசிக்கிற நீங்களெல்லாரும் அவளோடேகூடச் சந்தோஷப்பட்டு, அவளைக்குறித்துக் களிகூருங்கள்; அவள் நிமித்தம் துக்கித்திருந்த நீங்களெல்லாரும் அவளோடேகூட மிகவும் மகிழுங்கள்.

பாழாய்க்கிடந்த இத்தேசம், ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தைப்போலாயிற்றென்றும், அவாந்தரமும் பாழும் நிர்மூலமுமாயிருந்த பட்டணங்கள் அரணிப்பானவைகளும் குடியேற்றப்பட்டவைகளுமாயிருக்கிறது என்றும் சொல்லுவார்கள்.

நான் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குப் பனியைப்போலிருப்பேன்; அவன் லீலிப் புஷ்பத்தைப்போல் மலருவான்; லீபனோனைப்போல் வேரூன்றி நிற்பான்.

இவைகளுக்குப்பின்பு, பரலோகத்தில் திரளான ஜனக்கூட்டம் இடுகிற ஆரவாரத்தைக் கேட்டேன். அவர்கள்: அல்லேலூயா, இரட்சணியமும் மகிமையும் கனமும் வல்லமையும் நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கே உரியது; அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் சத்தியமும் நீதியுமானவைகள்.
