இணை வசனம்

அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்த ஜனமென்றும், கர்த்தரால் மீட்கப்பபட்டவர்களென்றும் சொல்லுவார்கள்; நீ தேடிக்கொள்ளப்பட்டதென்றும், கைவிடப்படாத நகரமென்றும் பெயர்பெறுவாய்.

நீர் மீட்டுக்கொண்ட இந்த ஜனங்களை உமது கிருபையினாலே அழைத்து வந்தீர்; உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த வாசஸ்தலத்துக்கு நேராக அவர்களை உமது பலத்தினால் வழிநடத்தினீர்.

தேசத்தில் சமாதானம் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; தத்தளிக்கப்பண்ணுவார் இல்லாமல் படுத்துக்கொள்வீர்கள்; துஷ்ட மிருகங்களைத் தேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; பட்டயம் உங்கள் தேசத்தில் உலாவுவதில்லை.

கர்த்தரால் சத்துருவின் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்கப்பட்டு,

அப்பொழுது ஓனாய் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியோடே தங்கும், புலி வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியோடே படுத்துக்கொள்ளும்; கன்றுக்குட்டியும், பாலசிங்கமும், காளையும், ஒருமித்திருக்கும்; ஒரு சிறு பையன் அவைகளை நடத்துவான்.

தெற்கேபோகிற மிருகஜீவன்களின் பாரம். துஷ்டசிங்கமும், கிழச்சிங்கமும், விரியனும், பறக்கிற கொள்ளிவாய்ச்சர்ப்பமும் வருகிறதும், நெருக்கமும் இடுக்கமும் அடைவிக்கிறதுமான தேசத்துக்கு, அவர்கள் கழுதை மறிகளுடைய முதுகின்மேல் தங்கள் ஆஸ்திகளையும், ஒட்டகங்களுடைய முதுகின்மேல் தங்கள் பொக்கிஷகளையும், தங்களுக்கு உதவாத ஜனத்தண்டைக்கு ஏற்றிக்கொண்டுபோகிறார்கள்.

நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டும் நாள் என் மனதிலிருந்தது; என்னுடையவர்களை மீட்கும் வருஷம் வந்தது.

ஓனாயும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியும் ஒருமித்து மேயும்; சிங்கம் மாட்டைப்போல வைக்கோலைத் தின்னும்; புழுதி சர்ப்பத்துக்கு இரையாகும்; என் பரிசுத்த பர்வதமெங்கும் அவைகள் தீங்குசெய்வதுமில்லை, கேடுண்டாக்குவதுமில்லையென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

நான் அவர்களோடு சமாதான உடன்படிக்கைசெய்து, துஷ்ட மிருகங்களȠதேசத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர்கள் சுகமாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் தாபரித்து, காடுகளில் நித்திரைபண்ணுவார்கள்.

அக்காலத்தில் நான் அவர்களுக்காகக் காட்டு மிருகங்களோடும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளோடும், பூமியிலே ஊரும் பிராணிகளோடும், ஒரு உடன்படிக்கைபண்ணி, வில்லையும் பட்டயத்தையும் யுத்தத்தையும் தேசத்திலே இராதபடிக்கு முறித்து, அவர்களைச் சுகமாய்ப் படுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்.

மரத்திலே தூக்கப்பட்ட எவனும் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, கிறிஸ்து நமக்காகச் சாபமாகி, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் சாபத்திற்கு நம்மை நீங்லாக்கி மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

அவர் நம்மைச் சகல அக்கிரமங்களினின்று மீட்டுக்கொண்டு, தமக்குரிய சொந்த ஜனங்களாகவும், நற்கிரியைகளைச் செய்ய பக்திவைராக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்படி, நமக்காகத் தம்மைத்தாமே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்.

உங்கள் முன்னோர்களால் பாரம்பரியமாய் நீங்கள் அநுசரித்து வந்த வீணான நடத்தையினின்று அழிவுள்ள வஸ்துக்களாகிய வெள்ளியினாலும் பொன்னினாலும் மீட்கப்படாமல்,

தேவரீர் புஸ்தகத்தை வாங்கவும் அதின் முத்திரைகளை உடைக்கவும் பாத்திரராயிருக்கிறீர்; ஏனெனில் நீர் அடிக்கப்பட்டு, சகல கோத்திரங்களிலும் பாஷைக்காரரிலும் ஜனங்களிலும் ஜாதிகளிலுமிருந்து எங்களை தேவனுக்கென்று உம்முடைய இரத்தத்தினாலே மீட்டுக்கொண்டு,

ஒரு தூதன் பாதாளத்தின் திறவுகோலையும் பெரிய சங்கிலியையும் தன் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டு வானத்திலிருந்திறங்கிவரக்கண்டேன்.
