அவர் பிரபுக்களின்மேல் இகழ்ச்சி வரப்பண்ணுகிறார்; பலவான்களின் கச்சையைத் தளர்ந்துபோகப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

அவர் பிரபுக்களின்மேல் இகழ்ச்சி வரப்பண்ணி வழியில்லாத அவாந்தர வெளியிலே அவர்களைத் திரியச்செய்து,

எருசலேமுக்கும் யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் அதின் ராஜாக்களுக்கும், அதின் பிரபுக்களுக்கும் அவர்களை இந்நாளிலிருக்கிறபடி வனாந்தரமும் பாழும் இகழ்ச்சிக்குறியாகிய ஈசல்போடுதலும் சாபமுமாக்கிப்போடும்படி குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தேன்.

இப்படியிருக்க, பிரபுக்களின் முகத்தைப்பாராமலும், ஏழையைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஐசுவரியவானை அதிகமாய் எண்ணாமலும் இருக்கிறவரை நோக்கி இப்படிச் சொல்லலாமா? இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் அவர் கரங்களின் கிரியையே.

பிரபுக்களின் ஆவியை அடக்குவார்; பூமியின் ராஜாக்களுக்கு அவர் பயங்கரமானவர்.

சோவான் பிரபுக்கள் மூடரானார்கள்; நோப்பின் பிரபுக்கள் மோசம்போனார்கள்; எகிப்தையும் அதின் கோத்திரத்தலைவரையும் வழிதப்பப்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்.

சர்வ சிங்காரத்தின் மேன்மையைக் குலைக்கவும் பூமியின் கனவான்கள் யாவரையும் கனஈனப்படுத்தவும், சேனைகளின் கர்த்தரே இதை யோசித்துத் தீர்மானித்தார்.

அக்காலத்தில் கர்த்தர் உன்னதமான சேனையை உன்னதத்திலும், பூமியின் ராஜாக்களைப் பூமியிலும் விசாரிப்பார்.

ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணின அதின் மேன்மக்களை அழைத்தால், அங்கே அவர்களில் ஒருவரும் இரார்கள்; அதின் பிரபுக்கள் அனைவரும் இல்லாமற்போவார்கள்.

தம்முடைய புயத்தினாலே பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்தார்; இருதயசிந்தையில் அகந்தையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிதறடித்தார்.

நீங்கள் ராஜாக்களின் மாம்சத்தையும், சேனைத்தலைவர்களின் மாம்சத்தையும், பலவான்களின் மாம்சத்தையும், குதிரைகளின் மாம்சத்தையும், அவைகளின்மேல் ஏறியிருக்கிறவர்களின் மாம்சத்தையும், சுயாதீனர் அடிமைகள், சிறியோர் பெரியோர், இவர்களெல்லாருடைய மாம்சத்தையும் பட்சிக்கும்படிக்கு, மகாதேவன் கொடுக்கும் விருந்துக்குக் கூடிவாருங்கள் என்று மிகுந்த சத்தத்தோடே கூப்பிட்டான்.
