அதைத் தோளின்மேல் எடுத்து அதைச் சுமந்து, அதை அதின் ஸ்தானத்திலே வைக்கிறார்கள்; அங்கே அது நிற்கும்; தன் இடத்தைவிட்டு அசையாது; ஒருவன் அதை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டால், அது மறுஉத்தரவு கொடுக்கிறதுமில்லை, அவன் இக்கட்டை நீக்கி அவனை இரட்சிக்கிறதுமில்லை.

அந்த ஜனங்கள் பொய்த் தெய்வங்களைத் தோளில் வைத்து சுமக்கின்றனர். அந்தப் பொய்த் தெய்வம் பயனற்றது. ஜனங்கள் அதைச் சுமக்க வேண்டும். ஜனங்கள் தரையில் அந்தச் சிலையை வைப்பார்கள். அந்த தெய்வங்களால் நகர முடியாது. அந்தப் பொய்த் தெய்வங்களால் இடத்தை விட்டு எழுந்து நடக்க முடியாது. ஜனங்கள் அதைக் கூப்பிட்டாலும். அது பதில் சொல்லாது. அப்பொய்த் தெய்வம் ஒரு சிலை மட்டும்தான். அது ஜனங்களை அவர்களின் துன்பத்திலிருந்து காப்பாற்ற முடியாது.
