இரண்டு ஸ்திரீகள் ஏந்திரம் அரைத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்; ஒருத்தி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், ஒருத்தி கைவிடப்படுவாள்.

அப்பொழுது சிங்காசனத்தின் மேல் வீற்றிருக்கும் பார்வோனுடைய தலைப்பிள்ளை முதல் ஏந்திரம் அரைக்கும் அடிமைப்பெண்ணுடைய தலைப்பிள்ளை வரைக்கும், எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருக்கிற முதற்பேறனைத்தும் மிருகஜீவன்களின் தலையீற்றனைத்தும் சாகும் என்று உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொன்னதுமன்றி,

பெலிஸ்தர் அவனைப் பிடித்து, அவன் கண்களைப் பிடுங்கி, அவனைக் காசாவுக்குக் கொண்டுபோய், அவனுக்கு இரண்டு வெண்கல விலங்குபோட்டுச் சிறைச்சாலையிலே மாவரைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்க வைத்தார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது என் மனைவி வேறொருவனுக்கு மாவரைப்பாளாக; வேற்றுமனிதர் அவள்மேல் சாய்வார்களாக.

அசீரியா ராஜா, தான் சிறைபிடிக்கப்போகிற எகிப்தியரும், தான் குடிவிலக்கப்போகிற எத்தியோப்பியருமாகிய இளைஞரையும் கிழவரையும், வஸ்திரமில்லாமலும் வெறுங்காலுமாய் எகிப்தியருக்கு வெட்கமுண்டாகும்படி, இருப்பிடம் மூடப்படாதவர்களாய்க் கொண்டுபோவான்.

ஊழியக்காரனை நோக்கி: அங்கே நமக்கு எதிராக நடந்து வருகிற அந்த மனிதன் யார் என்று கேட்டாள். அவர்தான் என் எஜமான் என்று ஊழியக்காரன் சொன்னான். அப்பொழுது அவள் ஒட்டகத்தை விட்டிறங்கி முக்காடிட்டுக்கொண்டாள்.

ஆதலால் ஆண்டவர் சீயோன் குமாரத்திகளின் உச்சந்தலையை மொட்டையாக்குவார்; கர்த்தர் அவர்கள் மானத்தைக் குலைப்பார்.

சுகஜீவிகளே, நடுங்குங்கள்; நிர்விசாரிகளே, தத்தளியுங்கள், உடையை உரிந்து களைந்துபோட்டு, அரையில் இரட்டைக் கட்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

இவைகள் எனக்கு நேரிட்டது ஏதென்று நீ உன் இருதயத்தில் சொன்னாயாகில், உன் திரளான அக்கிரமத்தினிமித்தமே உன் ஓரங்கள் விலக்கப்பட்டு, உன் பாதங்கள் பலவந்தஞ்செய்யப்படுகின்றன.

உன் மானம் காணப்பட நான் உன் வஸ்திரத்து ஓரங்களை முகமட்டாக எடுத்துப்போடுவேன்.

அவனுடைய தேசத்துக்குக் காலம் வருகிறவரையில் சகல ஜாதிகளும் அவனையும் அவனுடைய புத்திரபெளத்திரரையும் சேவிப்பார்கள்; அதின்பின்பு அநேகம் ஜாதிகளும் பெரிய ராஜாக்களும் அவனை அடிமைகொள்வார்கள்.

வாலிபரை ஏந்திரம் அரைக்கக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; இளைஞர் விறகு சுமந்து இடறிவிழுகிறார்கள்.

இதோ, நீ சம்போகம்பண்ணின உன் எல்லாக் காமவிகாரிகளையும், நீ நேசித்த யாவரையும், நீ பகைத்திருக்கிற அனைவரோடும் நான் கூடிவரச்செய்து, சுற்றிலுமிருந்து அவர்களை உனக்கு விரோதமாகச் சேர்த்து, அவர்கள் உன் நிர்வானத்தையெல்லாம் காணும்படி உன் நிர்வாணத்தை அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் திறந்துவைத்து,

இல்லாவிட்டால் நான் அவளை நிர்வாணமாக உரிந்து, அவள் பிறந்தநாளில் இருந்தவண்ணமாக அவளை நிறுத்தி, அவளை அந்தரவெளியைப்போலாக்கி, அவளை வறண்டபூமியைப்போல் விட்டு, அவளைத் தாகத்தால் சாகப்பண்ணுவேன்;

சாப்பீரில் குடியிருக்கிறவளே, வெட்கத்துடன் அம்மணமாய் அப்பாலே போ; சாயனானில் குடியிருக்கிறவன் வெளியே வருவதில்லை; பெத்ஏசேலின் புலம்பல் உங்களுக்கு அடைக்கலமாயிராது.

இதோ, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து உன் வஸ்திரத்து ஓரங்களை உன் முகமட்டும் தூக்கியெடுத்து, ஜாதிகளுக்கு உன் நிர்வாணத்தையும் ராஜ்யங்களுக்கு உன் மானத்தையும் தெரியப்பண்ணி,

திரிகை திரிக்கிற இரண்டு ஸ்திரீகளில் ஒருத்தி ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், மற்றவள் கைவிடப்படுவாள்.
