இடுக்கண்செய்கிறவன் அழிக்க ஆயத்தமாகிறபோது, நீ அவனுடைய உக்கிரத்துக்கு நித்தம் இடைவிடாமல் பயப்படுகிறதென்ன? இடுக்கண்செய்கிறவனுடைய உக்கிரம் எங்கே?

துன்பம் செய்கிறவன் அழிக்க ஆயத்தமாகிறபோது, நீ அவனுடைய கடுங்கோபத்திற்கு எப்போதும் இடைவிடாமல் பயப்படுகிறதென்ன? துன்பம் செய்கிறவனுடைய கடுங்கோபம் எங்கே?

கர்த்தர் உன்னைப் படைத்தார்! அவர் தமது வல்லமையால் பூமியைப் படைத்தார்! அவர் தமது வல்லமையால் பூமிக்கும் மேல் வானத்தை விரித்து வைத்தார். ஆனால், நீ அவரையும் அவரது வல்லமையையும் மறந்துவிட்டாய். எனவே, நீ எப்பொழுதும் கோபங்கொண்ட உன்னைப் பாதிக்கும் ஜனங்களுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறாய். அவர்கள் உன்னை அழிக்கத் திட்டமிடுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் இப்போது அவர்கள் எங்கே உள்ளனர்? அவர்கள் எல்லாம் போய்விட்டார்கள்.

And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
