எழும்பு, எழும்பு, பெலன்கொள்; கர்த்தரின் புயமே முந்தின நாட்களிலும் பூர்வ தலைமுறைகளிலும் எழும்பினபடி எழும்பு; இராகாபைத் துண்டித்ததும் வலுசர்ப்பத்தை வதைத்ததும் நீதானல்லவோ?

கர்த்தருடைய கையே! (வல்லமை) எழும்பு, எழும்பு, பலமாகு! உனது பலத்தைப் பயன்படுத்து, நீண்ட காலத்துக்கு முன்பு நீ செய்தது போன்றும் பழங்காலத்தில் நீ செய்ததுபோன்றும் நீரே ராகாப்பைத் தோற்கடிக்க வல்லமையாக இருந்தீர். நீர் அந்த பயங்கர பிராணியைத் தோற்கடித்தீர்.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
