ஆகிலும் அவர் பூர்வநாட்களையும், மோசேயையும், தம்முடைய ஜனத்தையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்; ஆனாலும் அவர்களையும், தமது மந்தையின் மேய்ப்பனையும் சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து ஏறிவரப்பண்ணினவர் இப்பொழுது எங்கே?

ஆகிலும் அவர் ஆரம்பநாட்களையும், மோசேயையும், தம்முடைய மக்களையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்; ஆனாலும் அவர்களையும் தமது மந்தையின் மேய்ப்பனையும் கடலிலிருந்து ஏறச்செய்தவர் இப்பொழுது எங்கே?

ஆனால், கர்த்தர் நீண்ட காலத்திற்கு முன்பு என்ன நடந்தது என்பதை இப்போதும் நினைவுகொள்கிறார். அவர் மோசேயையும் அவரது ஜனங்களையும் நினைவுகொள்கிறார். கடல்வழியாக ஜனங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்தவர் கர்த்தர் ஒருவரே. கர்த்தர் தம் மந்தைகளை (ஜனங்கள்) வழிநடத்த மேய்ப்பர்களைப் (தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை) பயன்படுத்தினார். ஆனால் இப்போது, மோசேயில் தன் ஆவியை வைத்தவர் எங்கே இருக்கிறார்?
