இஸ்ரவேலின் நம்பிக்கையே, ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் அதின் இரட்சகரே, நீர் தேசத்தில் பரதேசியைப்போலவும் இராத்தங்க இறங்குகிற வழிப்போக்கனைப்போலவும் இருப்பானேன்?

தேவனே, நீரே இஸ்ரவேலின் நம்பிக்கை ஆவீர்! துன்பக் காலங்களில் இஸ்ரவேலர்களை நீர் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர். ஆனால், இப்போது நீர் இந்த நாட்டில் அந்நியனைப் போன்று இருக்கிறீர். ஒருநாள் இரவு மட்டும் தங்குகிற பயணியைப்போன்று நீர் இருக்கிறீர்.
