நீங்களோவெனில், ஓய்வுநாளில் இந்த நகரத்தின் வாசல்களுக்குள்ளே சுமையைக் கொண்டுவராதபடிக்கும், ஓய்வுநாளில் ஒரு வேலையையும் செய்யாமல் அதைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கும்படிக்கு என் சொல்லைக் கேட்பீர்களானால்,

ஆனால் நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதில் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருக்கவேண்டும். இந்த வார்த்தை கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து வருகிறது. ஓய்வு நாளில் நீங்கள் எருசலேமின் வாசல்கள் வழியாக சுமையைக் கொண்டு வராதீர்கள். நீங்கள் ஓய்வு நாளைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்க வேண்டும். அந்நாளில் எவ்வித வேலையும் செய்யாமல் இருப்பதே ஓய்வுநாளை பரிசுத்தமான நாளாக வைப்பதாகும்.

ஆண்டவர் கூறுவது; நீங்கள் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து ஓய்வு நாளில் இந்நகரின் வாயில்கள் வழியாகச் சுமை தூக்கிச் செல்லாது, வேலை எதுவும் செய்யாது, ஓய்வுநாளைத் தூய்மையாகக் கடைப்பிடிப்பீர்களாகில்,
