இப்பொழுதும், நீ யூதாவின் மனுஷரையும் எருசலேமின் குடிகளையும் நோக்கி: இதோ, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக ஒரு தீங்கை உருவப்படுத்தி, உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக ஒரு காரியத்தை யோசிக்கிறேன்; ஆகையால் உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தன் பொல்லாத வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, உங்கள் வழிகளையும், உங்கள் கிரியைகளையும் சீர்ப்படுத்துங்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்.

“எனவே, எரேமியா, யூதாவின் ஜனங்களிடமும் எருசலேமில் வாழ்கிற ஜனங்களிடமும் கூறு. ‘இதுதான் கர்த்தர் கூறுவது: நான் இப்போதிருந்தே உங்களுக்குத் தொல்லைகளை தயாரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். நான் உங்களுக்கு எதிராகத் திட்டமிட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். எனவே, நீங்கள் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிற தீயச்செயல்களை நிறுத்துங்கள். ஒவ்வொரு நபரும் மாறவேண்டும், நல்லவற்றைச் செய்யத் தொடங்கவேண்டும்!’
