அவர்களுடைய சத்துருக்களும் அவர்கள் பிராணனை வாங்கத் தேடுகிறவர்களும், அவர்களை இறுகப்பிடிக்கப்போகிற முற்றிக்கையிலும் இடுக்கத்திலும், நான் அவர்களைத் தங்கள் குமாரரின் மாம்சத்தையும் தங்கள் குமாரத்திகளின் மாம்சத்தையும் தின்னப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவனவன் தனக்கு அடுத்தவனுடைய மாம்சத்தைத் தின்பான் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று நீ சொல்லி,

அவர்களுடைய எதிரிகளும் அவர்கள் உயிரை வாங்கத் தேடுகிறவர்களும், அவர்களை இறுகப்பிடிக்கப்போகிற முற்றுகையிலும் இடுக்கத்திலும், நான் அவர்களைத் தங்கள் மகன்களின் மாம்சத்தையும் தங்கள் மகள்களின் மாம்சத்தையும் சாப்பிடச்செய்வேன்; அவனவன் தனக்கு அடுத்தவனுடைய மாம்சத்தை சாப்பிடுவான் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்று நீ சொல்லி,

பகைவர்கள் நகரத்தைச்சுற்றி தம் படைகளை அழைத்து வருவார்கள். அப்படை ஜனங்கள் வெளியே சென்று உணவு பெறுவதை அனுமதிக்காது. எனவே, நகரத்தில் உள்ள ஜனங்கள் பட்டினியாக இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் தம் சொந்த மகன்கள் மற்றும் மகள்களின் உடலை உண்ணும் அளவிற்குப் பசியை அடைவார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் உண்ணத் தொடங்குவார்கள்.’

தங்கள் புதல்வர் புதல்வியரின் சதையை அவர்கள் உண்ணுமாறு செய்வேன். அவர்கள் பகைவர்களும் அவர்களின் உயிரைப் பறிக்கத் தேடுவோரும் அவர்களை முற்றுகையிட்டு நெருக்கி வருத்தும்போது, அவர்கள் ஒருவர் ஒருவருடைய சதையை உண்பார்கள்.
