எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசியைப் பஸ்கூர் அடித்து, அவனைக் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலே பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தாரைச் சேர்ந்த மேல்வாசலில் இருக்கும் காவலறையிலே போட்டான்.

எனவே அவன் எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசியை அடித்தான். ஆலயத்தில் பென்யமீனின் மேல் வாசலருகே அவனது கைகளிலும் கால்களிலும் பெரிய மரத்தடிகளால் விலங்கிட்டான்.

அதன் காரணமாக அவன் எரேமியாவைப் பிடித்து, அடித்து, ஆண்டவர் இல்லத்தில் பென்யமின் உயர்வாயிலில் சிறையில் அடைத்தான்.
