இணை வசனம்

அப்பொழுது சாமுவேல்: அந்தப் பேச்சை விடும், கர்த்தர் இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எனக்குச் சொன்னதை உமக்கு அறிவிக்கிறேன் என்று சவுலோடே சொன்னான். அவன்: சொல்லும் என்றான்.

கர்த்தர் நாத்தானைத் தாவீதினிடத்தில் அனுப்பினார்; இவன் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: ஒரு பட்டணத்தில் இரண்டு மனுஷர் இருந்தார்கள், ஒருவன் ஐசுவரியவான், மற்றவன் தரித்திரன்.

தாவீது காலமே எழுந்திருந்தபோது, தாவீதின் ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரனாகிய காத் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசிக்குக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உண்டாகிச் சொன்னது:

நீ எழுந்து, சமாரியாவிலிருக்கிற இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆகாபைச் சந்திக்கும்படி போ; இதோ, அவன் நாபோத்தின் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தைச் சொந்தமாய் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள அங்கே போயிருக்கிறான்.

அப்பொழுது அனானியின் குமாரனாகிய யெகூ என்னும் ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரன் புறப்பட்டு, அவனைச் சந்தித்து, ராஜாவாகிய யோசபாத்தை நோக்கி: துன்மார்க்கனுக்குத் துணைநின்று, கர்த்தரைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை நீர் சிநேகிக்கலாமா? இதினிமித்தம் கர்த்தருடைய கடுங்கோபம் உம்மேல் வர இருந்தது.

அப்பொழுது, கர்த்தர் அமத்சியாவின்மேல் கோபமூண்டவராகி, அவனிடத்துக்கு ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை அனுப்பினார்; இவன் அவனை நோக்கி: தங்கள் ஜனத்தை உமது கைக்குத் தப்புவிக்காதேபோன ஜனத்தின் தெய்வங்களை நீர் நாடுவானேன் என்றான்.

கர்த்தர் மனாசேயோடும் அவனுடைய ஜனத்தோடும் பேசினபோதிலும், அவர்கள் கவனிக்காதேபோனார்கள்.

யூதா ராஜாவின் குடும்பத்தாரையும் நோக்கி: கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீ போய், யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய சிதேக்கியாவினிடத்தில் பேசி, அவனுக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியது: இதோ, நான் இந்த நகரத்தைப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன்; அவன் இதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிப்பான்.

ஆசாரியர்களே, இதைக் கேளுங்கள்; இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, கவனியுங்கள்; ராஜாவின் வீட்டாரே, செவிகொடுங்கள்; இந்த நியாய விசாரிப்பு உங்கள்மேல் செல்லும்; நீங்கள் மிஸ்பாவில் கண்ணியும் தாபோரின்மேல் விசாரிக்கப்பட்ட வலையுமானீர்கள்.

பெத்தேலிலே இனித் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லாதே; அது ராஜாவின் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலமும் ராஜ்யத்தின் அரமனையுமாயிருக்கிறது என்றான்.

யோவான் ஏரோதை நோக்கி: நீர் உம்முடைய சகோதரன் மனைவியை வைத்துக்கொள்வது நியாயமல்லவென்று சொன்னதினிமித்தம், ஏரோது சேவகரை அனுப்பி, யோவானைப்பிடித்துக் கட்டிக் காவலில் வைத்திருந்தான்.

காற்பங்கு தேசாதிபதியாகிய ஏரோது தன் சகோதரனான பிலிப்புவின் மனைவி ஏரோதியாளினிமித்தமாகவும், தான் செய்த மற்றப் பொல்லாங்குகளினிமித்தமாகவும், யோவானாலே கடிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டபோது,
