எருசலேமின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளிலும் திடுக்கிடத்தக்க காரியத்தைக் காண்கிறேன்; விபசாரம்பண்ணி, வஞ்சகமாய் நடந்து, ஒருவனும் தன் பொல்லாப்பை விட்டுத் திரும்பாதபடிக்குப் பொல்லாதவர்களின் கைகளைத் திடப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் எல்லாரும் எனக்குச் சோதோமைப்போலும், அதின் குடிகள் கொமோராவைப்போலும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

இப்போது நான் யூதாவிலுள்ள தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் எருசலேமில் பயங்கரமான செயல்கள் செய்வதைப் பார்க்கிறேன். இத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் வேசிதனம் என்னும் பாவத்தைச் செய்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் பொய்களைக் கேட்கின்றனர். அவர்கள் பொய்யான போதனைகளுக்கு அடிபணிகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் தீயவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து தீயச் செயல்களைச் செய்ய ஊக்குவிக்கிறார்கள். எனவே, ஜனங்கள் பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்தவில்லை. அவர்கள் சோதோமின் ஜனங்களைப்போன்று இருக்கிறார்கள். இப்போது எருசலேம் எனக்கு கொமோராபோன்று உள்ளது.”
